Mario Boerlage
Owner and driving force behind Dierentaxi Westland
We don’t just transport animals—we understand them!
My name is Mario Boerlage and I am the proud owner of Dierentaxi Westland.
Animals are my passion, and their wellbeing always comes first. At Dierentaxi Westland, I provide a personal, reliable and animal-friendly transport service where safety, comfort, calm and respect are at the heart of everything I do.
With my background as a dog trainer I have extensive knowledge of dog behaviour, body language and signs of stress. In addition, my many years of experience with cats have taught me how differently cats can react to new situations, unfamiliar people and transport.
This helps me recognise when a dog or cat feels uncomfortable, unsure or stressed. I can spot important signals and know how to adapt my approach accordingly.
I work calmly and patiently, without unnecessary force. Every animal receives the attention and approach suited to its personality and needs.
When you choose Dierentaxi Westland, you’re choosing more than just a ride from A to B.
You’re choosing someone with a big heart for animals, knowledge of dog behaviour, years of experience with cats and an eye for the signals animals give us.
My goal is to make every journey as safe, comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Dierentaxi Westland – Knowledge of behaviour, understanding of stress and love for every animal.
Because good animal transport starts not when they get in, but with understanding the animal.
